Nursing 1-to-1

Computer Requirement

Students accepted into the Nursing program are required to have their own personal laptop computer, required software, and other equipment as listed in the document below. Please contact nursing@kirkwood.edu or eagletech@kirkwood.edu with any questions.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

  • Non ARM or Mobile processor
  • 4+ hours of battery life, recommended 5-6 hours
  • 8+ GB of RAM
  • 256+ GB of storage
  • Windows or capability of running it
  • Webcam, microphone, and headphones

Software Requirements

  • Examplify/ExamSoft
  • ATI Testing

Examplify Touch Screen Requirements

If your laptop has a touch screen, it must be disabled to run Examplify. See instructions on how to do so HERE

All models are available for purchase through EagleTech at educational pricing, tax-free, and you can use your financial aid to make your purchase. MacBooks WILL work. iPads and Chromebooks WILL NOT work.
